Motorola has unveiled the Edge 70 Fusion, a new mid-range smartphone designed for style-conscious and budget-aware consumers in Europe and other international markets. This model distinguishes itself with the world's first 'quad-curved' display, which flows into the sides for a sleeker aesthetic. The large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and Pantone-validated color accuracy, with a peak brightness of 5,200 nits for excellent outdoor visibility.
The photographic capabilities are led by a 50MP main camera utilizing Sony's Lytia 710 sensor and optical image stabilization. It's complemented by a 13MP ultra-wide macro camera and a 32MP front-facing camera capable of 4K recording. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, offering an approximate 15% performance increase over its predecessor. The phone supports 68W wired fast charging for its 5,200mAh battery and includes impressive durability features such as IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, alongside MIL-STD-810H compliance.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is positioned as a strong value proposition, with pricing starting at $430 in Europe. It will be available later this month in distinct Pantone-inspired colors. Motorola has not indicated any plans for a US release.
