Microsoft Edge's AI Learns Your Tabs

Microsoft Edge is rolling out advanced AI features, integrating Copilot more deeply into the browsing experience. Copilot will soon be able to access information across all open browser tabs, enabling users to ask questions, compare products, and summarize content directly within the chat interface.

Microsoft is also introducing a 'Study and Learn' mode powered by AI, which can convert articles into study sessions or interactive quizzes. Another new tool transforms tabs into AI-generated podcasts. The AI writing assistant will also become more prominent.

Further enhancements include granting Copilot access to browsing history for better responses and introducing 'long-term memory' for personalized conversations on both desktop and mobile. The Edge mobile app will allow users to share their screen with Copilot, facilitating detailed discussions about on-screen content.
