Local reports indicate noise levels sometimes exceed city limits, leading to fines for the company, although Hyperscale contests the city's measurement methods.
In response to resident concerns, John Stewart, Hyperscale's chief marketing officer, stated that the company is taking the issues seriously. They are transitioning away from cryptocurrency mining towards AI compute infrastructure and robotics. Approximately half of the mining equipment is already offline, with the remaining to be shut down within three months to reduce sound levels.
