JSW MG Motor India has launched the Hector Tomahawk, introducing both electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) versions. These models are available under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing model, with introductory rates starting at ₹13.99 lakh for the EV and ₹21.79 lakh for the PHEV, alongside per-kilometer battery rental fees. For full ownership, the EV starts at ₹19.49 lakh and the PHEV at ₹25.69 lakh.
The Hector Tomahawk EV features a 69.2 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of 517 km, supporting 90 kW DC fast charging. The PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 20.5 kWh battery, providing over 115 km of pure electric range and a combined range exceeding 1,100 km. Deliveries for the EV are scheduled to begin in September 2026, with the PHEV deliveries commencing in November 2026.
