These upcoming chips, identified as MTIA 300, 400 (Iris), 450 (Arke), and 500 (Astrid), are central to the company's strategy to diversify hardware suppliers and lower expenses in the competitive AI landscape.
The MTIA 300 is currently in production for content ranking and recommendation training, while MTIA 400 is nearing deployment after completing lab testing. The more advanced MTIA 450 and 500 are slated for mass deployment in 2027, with the 450 expected in early 2027 and the 500 six months later. This aggressive schedule reflects the rapid evolution of AI workloads, requiring silicon programs to keep pace.
