Meta's Edits Gets AI Brainstormer & Desktop App

Meta's video editing application, Edits, has received substantial enhancements, including the introduction of an AI assistant designed to aid creators in generating content ideas and interpreting performance data. This assistant will leverage existing Instagram insights to suggest trending audio and content based on performance.

In addition to the AI capabilities, Meta is preparing to launch a desktop version of Edits, a feature previously exclusive to mobile devices. This expansion aims to provide creators with greater control and a larger workspace for editing.

The app also now features a "Beta" tab, offering users early access to developing features and a platform for providing feedback. Furthermore, creators will benefit from more detailed audience insights, including demographic breakdowns and peak engagement times, alongside expanded inspiration feeds and content versioning capabilities.
