Marshall has announced the release of new versions of its popular Acton and Stanmore Bluetooth speakers, the Acton IV and Stanmore IV. These updated models feature enhanced internal designs, including upgraded tweeters and bass ports, aimed at improving their ability to fill a room with sound. Notably, Marshall has prioritized repairability in these new iterations, making parts such as knobs, feet, and speaker grills easily replaceable should damage occur.
The smaller Acton IV is priced at $299.99 and includes a 4-inch woofer with twin 0.75-inch tweeters. The larger Stanmore IV, featuring a 5-inch woofer and a similar tweeter setup, costs $399.99. Both speakers have redesigned bass ports for cleaner, more powerful bass and have repositioned power cords to allow for flush wall placement. These new speakers also support Bluetooth Auracast for multi-speaker syncing and integrate with Marshall's Heddon Wi-Fi streaming hub.
