Mammotion has introduced the Luba 4 AWD at IFA 2026, showcasing significant upgrades from its predecessor. This new robot mower boasts an optional trimming arm, a feature designed to tackle precise edge cutting that traditional robot mowers often miss.
The Luba 4 AWD utilizes advanced navigation technologies, including 360-degree LiDAR, NRTK satellite tracking, and AI-powered vision cameras. This combination aims to improve reliability, especially in areas with satellite signal obstructions like tall buildings or dense tree canopies, preventing dead zones and map drift.
Available in three models—3000F, 6000F, and 12000F—the Luba 4 AWD varies in mowing capacity and cutting dimensions. The 3000F and 6000F can cover up to 1.5 acres with a 17.3-inch cutting width, while the 12000F handles nearly 3 acres with a 20.9-inch width.
Further enhancements include turning front wheels for reduced lawn wear and a detachable battery supporting fast charging up to 210 watts. The accompanying app will feature offline voice control and remote video monitoring, with future AI capabilities planned.
