Scorpio N XL: Digital Render Adds Third-Row Space
12 Mar
Summary
- Digital creation imagines a longer Scorpio N for more third-row legroom.
- Extended rear overhangs add space while wheelbase remains the same.
- Cabin updates in the render include a panoramic sunroof and third-row AC vents.

Digital creators have produced renderings of a stretched Mahindra Scorpio N, dubbed the 'XL' version, aimed at enhancing passenger comfort. This conceptualization addresses common feedback regarding limited legroom in the SUV's third row, a common issue for those under 5 feet 8 inches.
The extended Scorpio N XL design primarily increases the rear overhangs, providing more interior volume without altering the wheelbase. Visual enhancements include larger rear quarter glass, intended to improve the sense of space for third-row occupants. The digital mock-up also introduces cabin upgrades such as a panoramic sunroof and dedicated air conditioning vents for the rearmost passengers.
Meanwhile, Mahindra is actively testing the facelifted Scorpio N, with spy shots indicating minor design tweaks to the grille and headlamps. The updated interior is expected to feature a larger infotainment screen, though powertrain options are anticipated to remain unchanged. The official launch date for the facelifted model has not yet been announced.
