Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its new BE 6 Sporteq series, based on the BE 6 electric SUV, with prices beginning at Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for models including the battery. An alternative Battery as a Service (BaaS) model is available from Rs 11.45 lakh, with a per-kilometre battery usage charge. Deliveries are set to commence on August 26, 2026.
The BE 6 Sporteq introduces a sophisticated three-screen, coast-to-coast digital cockpit in most variants, offering advanced technology suites powered by Mahindra's Artificial Intelligence Architecture (MAIA). These suites include Google Gemini-powered voice assistance, entertainment features like karaoke and gaming, performance customization, and enhanced security features with digital car-key functionality.
Notable variants include the Launch Edition with exclusive finishes and the Formula E Freedom Edition, inspired by racing, which boasts enhanced acceleration and a unique interior. Mahindra has also committed to rolling out these new software and technology features to existing BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S models in phases, starting from January 2027.
