Logitech Adds Crucial USB-C Port to iPad Cases

Logitech has enhanced its rugged iPad keyboard cases with a new feature addressing a persistent user problem. The Rugged Combo 4c and 4c Touch cases, designed for the 10th and 11th-generation iPads, now include a second USB-C port. This addition allows users to connect accessories like mice or external drives while simultaneously charging the iPad.

These cases are primarily manufactured for educational institutions and are distributed through authorized channels. However, similar to previous models, they are expected to become available through secondary markets. Features carried over include a spill-resistant and easy-to-clean keyboard, substantial drop protection up to 6.6 feet, and power supplied directly via the iPad's Smart Connector.

The 4c Touch variant integrates a multitouch trackpad, enhancing navigation and multitasking capabilities. Furthermore, the updated design ensures the Apple Pencil can attach magnetically and remain secured by the case's latch during transit, offering a more complete and protected solution for students and educators alike.
