Logitech has introduced the G512 X, a new wired keyboard designed to bridge the gap between analog and mechanical switch preferences. This model boasts a unique hybrid switch bed, compatible with a significant number of analog and traditional mechanical switches. This innovation allows users to customize their typing and gaming experience with unprecedented flexibility.
The G512 X features TMR sensors that enable up to two distinct actuation points per key. This allows for highly personalized input registration, with a second actuation point offering a tactile response. Additionally, the switches support rapid trigger functionality, which primes keys for immediate re-input, enhancing performance in fast-paced games.
Launching on May 2nd, the G512 X will be available in compact 75-key and larger 98-key configurations. Color options include black with purple accents and white with turquoise accents. Pricing is set at $179.99 for the 75-key version and $199.99 for the 98-key version. Preorders are currently open for this versatile gaming peripheral.
