LiveWire, Harley-Davidson's electric motorcycle arm, has launched two new electric mini bikes, the S4 Honcho Trail and S4 Honcho Street. These models were developed in partnership with Kymco and are intended for novice riders and younger demographics. Initially, they will be available in the UK later this year. The bikes are built on a tubular steel frame, with dual removable 1.74 kWh battery packs.
The S4 Honcho Street is road-legal, featuring lights and indicators, while the Trail version is geared for off-road use with specialized tires. Both models offer impressive performance for their size, reaching 95 km/h and accelerating from 0-48 km/h in three seconds. The claimed range is up to 85 km under normal conditions, extending to 117 km at a steady 32 km/h. Charging from 20% to 80% takes approximately two hours.
Weighing 114.7 kg for the Trail and 120.6 kg for the Street, the bikes feature accessible seat heights of 736.6 mm and 762 mm respectively. LiveWire positions these mini bikes as offering performance comparable to 125cc petrol pit bikes. The Harley-Davidson LiveWire S4 Honcho Trail is priced at GBP 4,599, and the Street model is GBP 4,999.
