Life360 is expanding its pet-tracking capabilities with new scannable pet tags priced at $7.99. These tags, launched on Tuesday, utilize the company's network technology by allowing anyone to scan a QR code to alert the pet owner's family through the Life360 app. This feature provides peace of mind and location details if a pet is found.
In addition to the scannable tags, Life360 is rolling out new pet care features. These include 'care logs' for tracking feeding, walks, and medication, visible to all family members. 'Zoomies Alerts' for GPS trackers and a 'Weekly Roundup' are also being introduced to provide insights into pet activity and family care contributions.
The company is also making its GPS pet trackers more accessible. Previously limited to higher-tier subscriptions, they are now included with the $99-per-year Silver bundles. These new tags and trackers are available for purchase on the company's website and Amazon in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.K.
