Mammotion has unveiled its latest robotic lawnmower, the Luba 3 AWD, equipped with a sophisticated lidar navigation system. This groundbreaking technology enables the mower to create a live, three-dimensional map of the user's yard with remarkable centimeter-level precision, capturing details from ground level to the treetops.
The Luba 3 AWD integrates Mammotion's "Tri-Fusion" system, which synergistically combines lidar sensors, advanced geopositioning technology, and an AI chip utilizing built-in cameras. This powerful combination ensures highly accurate navigation, allowing the mower to identify pets, toys, and over 300 distinct obstacles, even in varying light conditions.
Utilizing NetRTK geopositioning and 4G/Wi-Fi connectivity, the Luba 3 AWD navigates lawns autonomously, eliminating the need for traditional wires or base stations. The mower boasts a 15.8-inch cutting width, four independently driven motors capable of tackling 80 percent slopes, and a 15Ah battery that can cover up to 1.75 acres daily. The Luba 3 AWD starts at $2,399 and is available for preorder in North America, the UK, and the EU.
