LG is poised to dramatically enhance OLED monitor performance in 2026 with its groundbreaking Tandem WOLED technology. These new panels, set to appear in monitors from various brands, promise exceptional visual quality. The technology, called "Primary RGB Tandem 2.0," can achieve up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness in PC monitors.
Furthermore, the new panels feature "Perfect Black Anti-Reflection" technology, achieving the world's lowest reflectance of 0.3% for superior clarity, even in bright environments. The Tandem WOLED panels also support 99.5% DCI-P3 color coverage, ensuring remarkable color accuracy and deeper blacks.
At CES 2026, LG showcased advancements like a 27-inch gaming OLED capable of 720Hz at 1080p resolution and a world-first 240Hz RGB stripe pixel structure panel designed to eliminate text fringing. A 39-inch 5K gaming OLED monitor with a 1500R curvature was also revealed, with new monitors featuring this technology expected to launch in Q2 2026.
