LG has unveiled its latest innovations at CES 2026, highlighted by the triumphant return of its ultra-thin "Wallpaper" TV. This revived model features a breathtaking OLED screen and advanced wireless connectivity, maintaining a design as slender as a pencil. It simplifies setup with a single power cable, while its A/V components are handled by a One Connect box that can be positioned up to 10 meters away wirelessly.
Further expanding its 2026 offerings, LG is intensifying its competition with Samsung's Frame TV through its revamped "Gallery Mode" sets. These TVs, developed with museum curators, feature magnetic bezels and anti-reflective screens to showcase art effectively. Utilizing Mini LED panels to prevent burn-in, they aim to provide a superior viewing experience for both art and entertainment.
LG is also introducing Micro RGB, a novel technology built upon Mini LED that promises an expansive color range. This new display technology was showcased on a 100-inch demo TV, delivering incredibly rich colors and lifelike image textures. These advancements, including the next-generation OLED technology from the Wallpaper TV, will also be integrated into LG's G6 OLED models, promising brighter pictures and enhanced HDR.
