Summary
- Yoga 7i offers dependable performance with a 2-in-1 design.
- It excels in multitasking but slows with over 35 tabs.
- Features a 16-inch 2K touchscreen and a comfortable keyboard.

Lenovo's new Yoga 7i 2-in-1 16 is designed for reliable work performance with the added benefit of its versatile 2-in-1 form factor. Testing revealed a machine that rivals other laptops, even outperforming some with less powerful hardware in specific benchmarks like PCMark 10.
The laptop performs admirably in multitasking scenarios, easily handling numerous applications and streams. However, performance significantly decreases when exceeding approximately 35 open tabs, indicating a limit to its intensive multitasking capabilities. Despite this, its Geekbench AI scores were competitive, suggesting good support for large learning models.
Further enhancing its appeal are a comfortable, well-designed keyboard with a silk touch coating and a spacious 16-inch 2K touchscreen. While its display brightness is moderate, it includes features like TÜV Low Blue Light. The device offers substantial battery life, lasting around 17 hours on a single charge.
