At CES 2026, Lenovo has introduced its newest ThinkPad X1 laptops, featuring a revolutionary design called 'Space Frame.' This innovative internal structure places components on both sides of the motherboard, significantly enhancing cooling and enabling higher sustained performance.
The Aura Edition models of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 2-in-1 are also Microsoft Copilot+ PCs. They are equipped with the newly debuted Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 processors, which include powerful NPUs for AI acceleration and 12Xe graphic cores. These devices also sport an upgraded 10MP camera with a wide field of view.
Further innovations include user-replaceable USB ports, batteries, keyboard speakers, and fans, promoting easier repairs. The company also showcased the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition, an all-aluminum laptop with a 15.3-inch OLED display and Intel Core Ultra X9 processors, positioning it as a strong competitor in the premium laptop market.
