KLH has introduced the Model Four, a new floorstanding speaker that merges classic design with contemporary audio technology. This three-way speaker utilizes an eight-inch woofer from the Model Three and shares its midrange driver, tweeter, and crossover architecture with the highly regarded Model Five. This strategic combination aims to deliver exceptional audio performance in a heritage-inspired package.
The Model Four is specifically engineered for convenient placement, featuring a shallow cabinet depth and a slanted riser, allowing it to be positioned closer to walls. KLH assures listeners of "tight, accurate bass with as little as a few inches of rear clearance." The speaker boasts a 13-inch-wide front baffle and a cabinet depth of just 8.25 inches.
Available in the US and select international markets from September 2026, the KLH Model Four will retail for $999 each, or $1,999 for a pair. UK pricing is set at £899 each. A distinctive feature carried over from KLH's original designs is the three-position Acoustic Balance Control switch, enabling users to fine-tune the speaker's sound to match their room acoustics.
