Kia unveiled its 2027 EV3 compact SUV and a new hybrid Seltos at the New York Auto Show, signaling a return to smaller vehicle formats. The EV3, which shares styling cues with the larger EV9, will be available in various trims.
The entry-level EV3 Light features a 58.3 kWh battery, aiming for approximately 220 miles of range and supporting DC fast charging in 29 minutes. Higher trims utilize an 81.4 kWh pack, offering up to 320 miles of range and optional all-wheel drive.
These new Kia models incorporate modern features, including NACS charging ports with plug-and-charge capability and vehicle-to-load functionality. The infotainment systems are OTA-updatable and feature customizable themes. Both the EV3 and the hybrid Seltos are expected to go on sale in late 2026.
