JSW MG's 7-Seat Electric SUV Arrives Aug 26, 2026

JSW MG Motor India has officially teased its upcoming seven-seat electric SUV, slated for an India launch on August 26, 2026. Reservations for the MG Hector Hawk are currently open with a booking amount of Rs 21,000. This marks MG's entry into the three-row electric SUV segment.

The new SUV will be built on the ADAPT platform, capable of supporting electric, hybrid, and range-extender powertrains. The fully electric version will be the first to arrive, with a plug-in hybrid variant to follow. The production model is expected to feature a spacious cabin with seven seats and advanced technologies.

Internationally, specifications for the electric Hector Hawk indicate a 69.2 kWh battery and an estimated range of up to 530 km. DC fast charging will support rapid recharging. A plug-in hybrid variant is also planned, combining a petrol engine with a smaller battery for an extended total range.
