JBL has introduced its latest portable audio devices, including the compact Go 5 and the larger Xtreme 5 speakers. The Go 5, priced at £39.99 in the UK, enhances its predecessor with a claimed 10% increase in volume and deeper bass. It also offers an additional hour of battery life, extendable by two hours with a new EQ preset. For easier multi-speaker setups, the Go 5 allows users to tap speakers together for stereo pairing.
The Xtreme 5, matching the previous generation's UK price of £329.99, features significant performance upgrades. Its drivers have been redesigned for improved sound, and it includes a subwoofer for enhanced bass. JBL states it delivers 10% more bass and higher volume, alongside a new SmartEQ Mode that automatically optimizes audio settings and a sound booster for distortion-free high volumes.
Alongside the speakers, JBL also released EasySing Mics, priced at £129.99 in the UK. These karaoke microphones are designed to work with JBL speakers and can remove vocals from tracks. They boast a 10-hour battery life and are compatible with a wide range of JBL audio devices.
