iQOO 16 India Launch Imminent? Testing Underway

The iQOO 16, which recently debuted in China, is poised for a potential launch in India. Reports indicate the device has commenced testing procedures within the country, signaling an imminent arrival in the coming weeks. While its Chinese market price stands at CNY 5,999, approximately INR 86,000, a credible leak suggests the Indian pricing could climb higher, potentially exceeding INR 100,000. This would represent a significant increase from its predecessor's launch price of INR 72,999 just last year.

The iQOO 16 is equipped with impressive specifications, featuring a 6.85-inch Samsung AMOLED display offering a 1440x3168 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP selfie camera, an 8,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, and Android 17 with OriginOS 7 complete the package.
