DarkSword Hack Targets iPhones: Your Data at Risk!

A critical security vulnerability has been identified in certain versions of iOS 18, potentially impacting millions of iPhone users. The exploit, named DarkSword, was detailed by security researchers on Wednesday and has been linked to Russian hackers. This tool leverages six different vulnerabilities to target the Safari browser when users access compromised websites.
The DarkSword exploit enables malicious actors to gain access to extensive personal information. This includes sensitive data such as text messages, contact lists, saved credentials, iCloud files, photos, cryptocurrency wallets, call logs, and location history. The Google Threat Intelligence Group, in collaboration with Lookout and iVerify, analyzed the attack, estimating that up to 270 million devices still running the affected iOS versions could be at risk.
