This daring stunt, conducted from a high-altitude balloon over Kiruna, Sweden, earned a Guinness World Record for the highest drop of a mobile phone in a case. The phone plummeted for 25 minutes through extreme temperatures without any safety net or parachute.
The recovery team located the phone after a five-hour search, astonishingly finding it still functional and capable of making calls and capturing photos. This exceptional survival is attributed to RhinoShield's ShockSpread technology, which incorporates a 360-degree air-cushion chamber and a three-point compression structure. The company claims this design significantly reduces impact forces, as demonstrated by internal tests that reduced a 4,000-gram impact to just 775 grams. The case itself, constructed from TPE plastic, is priced at $62, a fraction of the $500,000 stunt's cost.
