iPhone 18 Pro Max: Battery Boost Incoming!

Recent leaks, originating from Chinese social network Weibo, suggest significant battery capacity upgrades for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The European variant, which supports both nano-SIM and eSIM, is reportedly equipped with a 5,235 mAh battery. This represents an increase of 412 mAh, or 8.5%, compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The United States version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, featuring dual eSIM and no physical SIM slot, is also slated for a battery capacity enhancement. It is expected to house a 5,425 mAh battery, an upgrade from the previous 5,088 mAh, providing 6.6% more power.
While these capacities may not rival some Chinese flagship phones, the combination with the anticipated 2-nm Apple A20 Pro processor could lead to substantially improved battery longevity. The iPhone 17 Pro Max already demonstrated strong battery performance, outlasting many competitors despite its comparatively average battery size.
