Apple's Sept. 9 Event: iPhone 18 Pro & Foldable Incoming!

Apple's much-anticipated event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, commencing at 10 a.m. PT. The event, marked by the invitation theme "Surprise and shine," is widely expected to feature the debut of the iPhone 18 Pro and Apple's first foldable smartphone. This event will also be significant as it's the first under CEO John Ternus.

Rumors suggest the iPhone 18 Pro lineup might adopt a staggered release strategy. Flagship models like the iPhone 18 Pro and the foldable are slated for a September 2026 unveiling, with more accessible models potentially launching in spring 2027. Design-wise, the iPhone 18 Pro is anticipated to retain its current look but may introduce new color options like cherry red and light blue. Internally, it's expected to house the A20 chip, built on TSMC's 2nm technology, promising performance and efficiency gains.
