14 Jun
Summary
- New watch face to debut with refreshed Apple Watch models.
- Camera app may allow user customization of controls.
- Siri to integrate third-party chatbots like ChatGPT.
Apple is reportedly developing three unannounced features for its upcoming iOS 27 operating system. These additions, detailed by Mark Gurman, are expected to enhance user experience and device capabilities. One significant update includes a new watch face, anticipated to be released when Apple refreshes its smartwatch lineup in the fall. This new face may draw inspiration from the Modular Ultra design but will be simplified for broader Apple Watch compatibility.
Furthermore, the Camera app is slated for a revamp, potentially arriving with the iPhone 18 Pro announcement this autumn. While not yet in the developer beta, this update could allow users to personalize the placement and selection of camera functions. In parallel, Siri is set to gain third-party chatbot integration, allowing users to switch between Apple's AI and services like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude, expanding its conversational prowess.
