Fujifilm officially launched its latest hybrid instant camera, the Instax mini Evo Cinema, worldwide on January 14, 2026. These clips can be framed and printed onto Instax film, complete with a QR code that plays the video on a smartphone.
The Instax mini Evo Cinema introduces a novel 'Eras Dial,' allowing users to apply film effects reminiscent of various decades, from the 1930s to the 2020s. Combined with a control dial for color and contrast, this feature offers extensive creative possibilities, blending nostalgic aesthetics with contemporary imaging technology.
Designed to evoke the look of vintage Super 8 cameras, the Instax mini Evo Cinema merges a retro exterior with advanced features like a hi-res LCD monitor, face recognition autofocus, and a selfie mirror. It is positioned as Fujifilm's most premium instant camera yet, retailing at $409 / £329.
