Their contribution includes transformers, switchboards, UPS systems, and specialized rack power distribution units. For thermal management, Vertiv is implementing high-capacity Coolant Distribution Units and efficient dry-cooler systems that utilize ambient temperatures, thereby reducing energy consumption and enhancing GPU stability.
The energy storage for this deployment relies on modern lithium-ion battery technology, chosen for its extended service life and reduced environmental impact compared to older lead-acid systems. This initiative underscores India's commitment to developing a sovereign AI cloud framework, enabling large-scale AI training and inference operations.
