The audio technology company iFi has introduced its latest budget-friendly headphone DAC, the Go Link 2. This new device is designed to significantly boost the audio quality from various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops, provided they have a USB-C port.
The Go Link 2 supports high-resolution audio playback, capable of handling 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 formats. It is now available for purchase at the same price as its predecessor, $59 / £59 (approximately AU$112).
Compared to the previous Go Link model, the Go Link 2 features a more compact design, being 29% lighter and 8% smaller. It also offers enhanced performance with 62% less distortion and 50% reduced crosstalk, thanks to its S-balanced 3.5mm output.
This refined DAC is compatible with iFi's Nexis app, which allows for potential future software updates and the addition of digital filters. For users seeking advanced features like 4.4mm headphone connections, iFi offers the Go Link Max model.
