Its international debut occurred at the Malaysia Marathon 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, where the HONOR Robotics D1 successfully completed the 10km race. The challenging hot and humid Malaysian climate provided a comprehensive test of the robot's endurance and stability in a real outdoor setting.
Additionally, the HONOR Robotics A1 participated in the 5km route, drawing considerable public attention and demonstrating how humanoid robotics can be made more approachable. The event also featured the robot marching with students during National Day celebrations.
HONOR stated that this initiative highlights technology's role in empowering human potential and evolving from 'serving people' to 'moving alongside people.' The brand, which holds the number one market share in Malaysia as of 1Q 2026, reaffirmed its commitment to introducing human-centered technology to local users.
