Honda has introduced its latest electric scooter, the QC3, to the Indian market with a starting price of ₹1.35 lakh. This new model represents Honda's third electric two-wheeler in India, following the QC1 and Activa e. The QC3 is designed for daily city commuting and comes equipped with a 3 kWh battery, offering an impressive claimed range of 145 km, the longest for a grid-powered electric scooter from Honda in India. It also features 32 liters of under-seat storage and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with connectivity functions.
The Honda QC3 is rolling out first in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam, with plans for a wider release in more cities. The scooter's battery can charge from 0-80% in approximately two hours and 40 minutes, with a full charge taking around four hours. While its power output is not yet specified, it utilizes a hub-mounted motor and includes a front disc brake. The QC3 competes with established models like the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak in the growing electric scooter segment.
