On October 7th, 2025, HMD Global introduced the HMD Touch 4G, a new "Hybrid Phone" that aims to provide smartphone-like capabilities at a feature phone price point. According to the company, this device offers the benefits of a smartphone experience while maintaining the simplicity of a traditional feature phone.
The HMD Touch 4G comes pre-loaded with the Express Chat app, which allows users to message, send voice notes, and make video calls with other Express Chat users on both Android and iOS platforms. Additionally, the phone provides access to a suite of cloud-based apps, enabling users to check cricket scores, read news, view weather updates, and even play classic games like Tetris and Sudoku.
Other key features of the HMD Touch 4G include Bluetooth sharing, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, wired and wireless FM radio support, a call recording function, and MP3 playback. The device is equipped with a 3.2-inch touch display, a 2MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, and a 1,950mAh battery that supports USB Type-C charging.
