Hisense has made significant advancements in TV color technology, showcased at CES 2026. The brand's new RGB MiniLED evo technology, first appearing in the Hisense 116UXS model, incorporates a sky blue (cyan) sub-pixel. This addition aims to enhance color fidelity, rendering gradients and transitions with greater naturalness and detail, even in non-HDR content.
Further expanding its innovative lineup, Hisense presented a 163-inch MicroLED TV, dubbed the Hisense 163MX. This model debuts the industry's first RGBY MicroLED technology, introducing a yellow sub-pixel. Hisense states this addresses spectral gaps in current MicroLED technology, enabling up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space with advanced color management.
These cutting-edge technologies will also be integrated into more accessible models, including the Hisense UR9 and UR8 series, available in sizes from 55 to 100 inches. Hisense emphasizes these TVs are engineered for "real homes," maintaining color integrity in bright environments and stability during dynamic content like sports and gaming.
