Lee has been meticulously designing, 3D-printing, and hand-assembling these gadgets for the past couple of years, documenting his efforts on various online platforms.

The Micro Journal 2.1 is the 10th generation of Lee's creations and a refined version of an earlier model. With its user-friendly layout and relatively large 8-inch display, the device caters to the needs of a growing community of writers seeking a distraction-free, focused writing environment. The Micro Journal 2.1 can be customized with various operating systems, allowing users to explore different writing software or even turn it into a classic game emulator.

Lee's dedication to open-source hardware and software has made his Micro Journal designs accessible to a wider audience. Those with the necessary skills and equipment can build the Micro Journal 2.1 themselves, using the print files, instructions, and bill of materials provided by the designer on Github.
