Google has announced that most applications are performing without issue on its Intel-based Googlebooks. According to a recent report, an impressive 96.6% of the top 10,000 most frequently used applications run flawlessly on this hardware.
This high success rate suggests a robust compatibility layer for a wide array of software. However, the introduction of new app compatibility ratings has revealed a notable scarcity of applications specifically tagged as 'Made for desktop'.
This implies that while general app performance is strong, the optimized desktop experience is still a niche offering. Further details on app compatibility are expected as more data becomes available.
