Google Wallet Tracks Your Deliveries Live!

Google Wallet is evolving into a comprehensive delivery tracking system, consolidating package information for users. Announced in late June and now confirmed as available for all US-based users by Google's VP of payments, Stavan Parikh, this feature brings delivery status directly into the Wallet app.

The integration allows users to view tracking updates for purchases from select merchants. Google Wallet may display details such as receipts, tracking numbers, and shipping statuses, depending on the merchant's data availability. Transaction details, including cost, time, date, and the payment card used, are accessible upon selecting an order entry.

Users can view an overview of package contents and specific delivery information like carrier updates and tracking numbers. A dedicated "View more" button consolidates all incoming orders on the Wallet home screen.
