Google Photos has initiated the rollout of an experimental new feature designed to transform user images into memes. This capability, named Me Meme, utilizes Google Gemini's advanced AI to integrate photographs into various meme templates. Users can select a photo from their gallery, and the AI will attempt to recreate it within a chosen meme format.

This feature is presently exclusive to users within the United States and operates only in English. Initial access seems to be limited to Android devices, indicating a phased release strategy. Google has also cautioned that the AI-generated memes might occasionally exhibit discrepancies with the original uploaded photo. The feature was first observed by Android Authority in October 2025, with early testing confirming its functionality before this limited release.
