Google has announced a substantial price reduction for its most advanced AI subscription. The AI Ultra plan, previously priced at $250 monthly, will now cost $200 per month, offering users access to Google's leading Gemini tools with increased usage limits.
A new $100 Ultra plan is also being introduced, providing advanced Gemini features without the maximum usage caps. This pricing adjustment accompanies the upcoming rollout of Gemini Spark, an AI assistant designed to facilitate task completion across applications and the web.
Gemini Spark will integrate with Chrome and introduce 'Android Halo' for live updates on Android. The tool is initially launching for trusted testers this week, followed by a beta for Gemini Ultra subscribers next week.
Furthermore, Google unveiled Gemini Omni, a new family of AI models capable of processing text, audio, images, and video. The initial model, Gemini Omni Flash, will be available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers starting Tuesday across the Gemini app, Google Flow, and YouTube Shorts.
