The Google Lens icon in the address bar transforms into a Gemini spark icon, granting access to Gemini's capabilities, including screen searching and direct prompting.
This new feature allows users to ask Gemini questions, summarize web pages, or even generate FAQs about content. While the integration automatically shares the viewed website with Gemini, users can disable this by pressing a 'Stop' button. This development arrives as Apple actively promotes its own Safari browser, emphasizing privacy features over third-party integrations.
