GeForce Now Streams to Amazon Fire TV
12 Feb
Summary
- GeForce Now is now available on Amazon Fire TV devices.
- Performance is capped at 1080p resolution and 60 FPS.
- HDR and surround sound are not supported on Fire TV.

Nvidia's GeForce Now game streaming service has expanded its reach by becoming available on Amazon Fire TV devices. This move allows users to stream games from their existing PC libraries, including those purchased on platforms like Steam, directly on their Fire TV Stick and compatible smart TVs.
However, the experience on Fire TV is significantly limited compared to PC performance. Users can expect a maximum resolution of 1080p at 60 frames per second. Crucially, advanced features such as HDR and surround sound are not supported on these Amazon devices. This stands in contrast to GeForce Now's capabilities on PCs, which can reach up to 5K resolution and 240 FPS.
