The latest foldable phone battle features Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Motorola's Razr Ultra 2026. Launched this week in London, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 starts at $1,200 for 256GB, a $100 increase over the previous model's debut price. The Razr Ultra 2026, Motorola's premium offering, is priced at $1,500 for 512GB.
Display specifications show Motorola leading with 165Hz refresh rates on both its internal and external screens, compared to the Z Flip 8's 120Hz. The Razr Ultra also boasts higher peak brightness. In terms of design, the Z Flip 8 is thinner and lighter than its competitor.
Under the hood, both devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The Razr Ultra offers a larger 5,000-mAh battery with significantly faster charging capabilities than the Z Flip 8's 4,300-mAh battery.
