Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Slims Down Notch for Sleeker Look
20 Aug
Summary
- Upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra to feature single-camera notch
- New panel with same 14.6" OLED display resolution as predecessor
- Powered by Dimensity 9400 chip, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage

According to the latest reports, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will address a key design issue that plagued its predecessors. The new tablet will feature a smaller, single-camera notch on its 14.6" OLED display, a significant improvement over the wide, dual-camera notch seen on the Tab S8 Ultra, Tab S9 Ultra, and Tab S10 Ultra.
While the notch will still be present due to the tablet's thin bezels, its more streamlined, semicircular design will be less obtrusive, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience. Samsung is also said to be using a new panel for the Tab S11 Ultra, though the resolution remains the same at 2,960 x 1,848 pixels.
Under the hood, the tablet will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage available. It will run the latest Android 16 operating system, though details on Samsung's One UI 8 tablet-specific features are still scarce.

Measuring just 5.1mm thick, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will also feature a slightly larger 11,600mAh battery compared to its predecessor's 11,200mAh unit, while retaining the 45W fast charging support.
