Samsung's latest Galaxy S26, priced at $900, has been launched and is being compared to Apple's current flagship, the $799 iPhone 17. Both phones feature 6.3-inch displays with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, enabling an always-on display and smoother scrolling.
The Galaxy S26 offers a resolution of 2,340 by 1,080 pixels on its AMOLED display, while the iPhone 17's OLED display has a slightly higher resolution of 2,622 by 1,206 pixels, resulting in a denser 460 ppi compared to the S26's 411 ppi. The iPhone 17 also achieves higher brightness at 3,000 nits versus the S26's 2,600 nits.
