Summary
- The S26 Ultra features rounded corners for improved pocket comfort.
- It utilizes Armor Aluminum instead of a titanium frame for lightness.
- The S Pen design is noted as a minor flaw, easily snagged or ejected.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has been redesigned for enhanced comfort, featuring rounded corners that make it more pleasant to hold and carry than previous generations. This new design brings it in line with the S26 and S26+ models, featuring a unified look across the entire lineup.
Samsung has opted for Armor Aluminum in the S26 Ultra, replacing the titanium frame of the prior model. This change aims for a lighter, more recyclable material, though it is slightly heavier. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2, a feature exclusive to the Ultra model within the S26 series.
The phone maintains its IP68 dust and water resistance rating, consistent with other S26 models and competing devices like the iPhone 17 and Pixel 10. Button placement remains familiar, with controls on the right edge and ports, including the USB-C 3.2, located on the bottom.
A notable design point is the S Pen, which does not sit perfectly flush with the phone's frame, raising concerns about accidental ejection. While the S Pen itself has not seen recent feature updates, its integration is a point of minor critique.
The rear camera system on the S26 Ultra is significantly large, accommodating four lenses, a flash, and a sensor array. This substantial camera module prevents the phone from resting flat on a surface, causing it to tilt.
