Fujifilm has announced two new versions of its popular QuickSnap disposable camera, marking the 40th anniversary of the original. The QuickSnap Black and White model utilizes a 27-exposure roll of ISO 400 black-and-white negative film and includes a built-in flash with a range of approximately 10 feet. This option is not waterproof.
Complementing the monochrome version is the new QuickSnap Active. This camera is designed to be waterproof up to 35 feet and comes in protective housing with a wrist strap. It features 27 exposures on ISO 800 color negative film, foregoing a flash for its enhanced durability and water resistance.
Both cameras are slated for release in the fall. The QuickSnap Black and White will retail for $22.90, while the QuickSnap Active will be priced slightly higher at $24.75. These releases offer a nostalgic and straightforward photography experience for consumers.
