France Blocks Tesla FSD in EU Over Safety Fears

Following the Netherlands' lead, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, and Lithuania also approved the technology provisionally. A potential bloc-wide vote on the FSD plan is anticipated this fall.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to the French opposition, suggesting that delaying FSD approval in France could lead to loss of life. France is continuing technical discussions with the Netherlands and other EU countries regarding the software.
