Blue Canyon Technologies, a subsidiary of RTX's Raytheon business, has introduced the FleXbus, a new spacecraft subsystem. This offering provides a mission-ready kit of components designed to increase the versatility of satellite missions.
The FleXbus integrates Blue Canyon's proven guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) system, FleXcore, along with other essential components. This allows customers to assemble and operate spacecraft more quickly, thereby accelerating launch schedules.
Designed for flexibility, FleXbus supports virtually any spacecraft structure without configuration limitations. It includes an avionics computer, command and data handling system, GNC algorithms, sensors, actuators, power system controller, batteries, and flight software.
Optional components like solar array drive assemblies and propulsion solutions are also available. This enables customers to focus on mission-specific engineering and gain practical integration experience, building sovereign capability.
